Children up to the age of 14 can get acquainted with fishing for free. We have also activated the free Online Youth Permit. This is already widely used, for example in combination with fishing lessons at primary schools.

More than a quarter of a million children fish every year. Many children come into contact with sport fishing and are quickly enthusiastic.

Significantly fewer children are members of a fishing club. For some, the threshold to immediately purchase a JeugdVISpas is too high (especially for parents). The free online youth permit offers a solution in this case.

Free online youth permit

The online youth permit is intended for children under the age of 14 who start fishing in their own living environment. These children remain 'invisible' to many associations because they do not know that they need written permission or because the parents first want to see if they really enjoy fishing.

 

Via the link below you can easily request a personalized free youth permit for fishing with one rod and a limited number of baits. This will take you to the page for ordering a VISpas, but if you click through, you can opt for the youth permit. Fill in your name, address, date of birth and gender on the digital form and you can then immediately print your youth permit yourself.

Registered children receive the Stekkie Magazine from Sportvisserij Nederland free of charge four times a year, with fishing tips, fishing stories and information about the JeugdVISpas.
