Regulations youth up to 10 years

Anglers, parents and volunteers are requested to adhere to this so that no discussions arise during or after the competition. In all cases not provided for in these regulations, the decision of the competition committee is binding. Parents who are on the competition committee or board may not be involved in the category in which their child participates. Every participant is expected to comply with these regulations.

Regulations:

  1. Rod length maximum 9.5 meters.

  2. Fishing is only allowed with bait that is made available during the competition.

  3. Additional feeding is only allowed with the available bait.

  4. Competition management may check your bait at all times.

  5. After the match, you may not throw the remaining bait into the water, but must return it.

  6. The use of a platform or platform is permitted.

What can parents or supervisors do:

We at HSV Raalte think the most important thing is that you do as much as possible yourself. You can only learn from this. You fish the match, so you have to try to do everything yourself. Put the bait on the hook, reel in the fish, unhook the fish and feed yourself.

  1. Parents/supervisors can help you prepare the fishing gear.

  2. Always try to gauge the float yourself first. If this is not possible, a supervisor can help you with this.

  3. Supervisors are allowed to throw your bait at your fishing spot the first time, after that you have to do this yourself. You can throw this by hand or with the help of a throwing stick.

  4. You should always try to unhook the fish yourself first, can't you? Then ask for a volunteer.

  5. Once you have a large fish, try to scoop it yourself with a landing net. If not, ask for a volunteer.
