Regulations
Senior competition and winter cup

  • Every participant is expected to know these regulations and to comply strictly.

  • Each participant is requested to be present 45 minutes before the start of the competition. (Present half an hour before the start of the Thursday evening).

  • The case may be placed 1 meter to the left or to the right in relation to the swim number.

  • After the competition, each angler must leave his or her fishing spot neat and clean. 

  • Rod choice and rod length is free, unless otherwise specified. In addition, a 2nd rod or top set may be ready.

  • Rigging and sounding is allowed before the start signal. 

  • The use of decking is allowed.

  • The use of ver de vase is prohibited.

  • The possession and use of colored maggots during the competition is prohibited.

  • Possession during the competition as well as the use of decoys to which (harmful) coloring agents have been added is prohibited.

  • The game starts at the first signal. The second signal announces the end, after which it must be stopped immediately. Fish that are above the water at that moment count.

  • Feeding is only allowed after the starting signal.

  • The use of a slingshot is not allowed under penalty of disqualification.

  • Fishing is not allowed before the starting signal.

  • Only 1 rod may be above the water during the competition.

  • Minimum keepnet length 300 cm long. A rubber coated keepnet is recommended.

  • A maximum of 20 kilograms may be stored per keepnet.

  • All fish are weighed, except pike, zander and eel. 

  • A competitor who interferes in any way with another competitor while fishing may be disqualified by the competition committee.

  • The race management is authorized to check the attributes including feed and bait.

  • The race management has the right to cancel a race in case of thunderstorms and other unforeseen calamities. If at that time 50% of the competition time has been fished, the weighting will take place. If the above-mentioned calamities are such that it is not possible to proceed to the weighing, the competition committee will decide.

  • Participants in the competitions organized by us must be in possession of a fishing pass issued by the Hengelsportvereniging Raalte, unless stated otherwise. 

  • On Sunday morning there is fishing in boxes. With less than 5 participants 1 course. With 6 or more, 2 boxes.

  • Those who missed a race will be placed in the box with the fewest participants for the next race on that water. If this number is equal, then that person or persons may draw lots.

  • The odd matches are always a free draw so match e.g. 6 matches IJssel is 1 3 and 5 free draw even though due to circumstances match 2 or 4 was also free.

  • The Sunday morning competition is fished on points. The number 1 in the box gets 1 point, the number 2 gets 2 points and so on. If you didn't weigh a fish and stayed until the end, you get 2 extra points, so you are e.g. Turned 6 you get 2 extra points. So a total of 8 points. If you do not show up, you will receive 10 points, if there were 10 participants or more per section, this will be increased to 15 points.

  • In the Sunday morning competition, the weight of the caught carp counts. An unhooking mat is mandatory. The carp should be weighed immediately after catching at the nearest weighing point. This point is indicated before the match.

  • The Sunday competition has 2 copyists.

  • The Thursday evening competition and the winter cup are fished by weight. 

  • The Thursday evening competition and the winter cup are fished with a pole. 

  • The Thursday evening competition has 1 copyist. 

  • Caught carp do not count in the Thursday evening competition.

  • At the winter cup, participants from last year have priority over new participants. This is because there are only a limited number of places available.

 

In all cases not covered by these regulations, the decision of the competition committee is binding.
